Looking for metal stuff to fix(weld repair)

I'm doing a demo video soon and I'm looking for everyday stuff, preferably with a broken weld or cracked metal. Bicycle, yard working equipment, chair, weight bench, etc ...stuff most folks would have in their home/garage. Aluminum or steel. I'm not looking to fix the broken tab off your 5.0 intake or a crack in those old cylinder heads, this is more to show the everyman proper repair procedure for something he could fix himself with a decent little tig or mig.

Need the stuff ASAP, let me know what you've got. Love you lots.:kissme:

I don't have anything for you to weld. I've been taking all my repairs/projects up to school and doing them.

Sounds like those last couple surgeries did what they were supposed to.

Looking forward to seeing the video(s).

Looking for something like this?

I have a commercial Toro diesel lawn mower, it weighs 1 ton.
It has a bent & broken bracket on the mower deck that needs
a weld repair.

I need an excavator thumb welded on if you're into heavy machinery. I'm comfortable with TIG but I don't have a clue about stick welding. Farmers could definitely relate to this :)

I have a Mini Bike Handle bar that is in need of a quick weld. Will send pics tonight if I can. Someone sanded the welds down to far trying to give it a finished look I think. It is a clean break.

That might work too. Wouldn't mind having a few small pieces on hand that need fixed.

I can snap a pic for ya after I get home from work if that is good? Around 5/5:30pm
Sounds great.

Do you need any extra metal? I have a bunch of poles from a carport from a few years ago that have been just sitting around in my yard. I was going to put them out by the road tonight, unless you would be able to use them for anything.

from something like this.

They fixed the tears, not sure if they fixed the issue long term. But I'm looking forward to working again either way.

The bracket my dad made to give the bars more support. That he wants welded on also if possible??? Thoughts?

That's doable. Not sure if it would be best bet for this vid, but maybe. I'd like to get a few smaller things like this and the chair lined up. I'll shoot you a PM.
