Looking for a good machine shop near Macomb township

I am looking for a good machine shop to have some work done on my 351w engine. Let me know if you have any suggestions of places close to Macomb township. I have always used automotive machine in Frasier but was not to happy with the work and price last time i used them. Thanks

Yeah don't go to automotive machine.

I hear really good things about champion performance on sherwood.

i used fasttime racing in wyandotte. everything held up good this season...15 psi of boost and i just hit her with 100 shot of nitrous with the boost too, no issues yet.

You can call crankshaft craftsmen in Hamtramck if you just need one turned.

Crankshaft Craftsmen moved to Milford or Commerce. Somewhere out that way. They do great work though.

my 400 engine is a 1971 and I will need to have the heads gone through ball park range what are we talking re doing and adding hardened seats?

Performance machine garfield and utica beat around..x10 best place to get crank turned is andt at performance crankshafts

Tough to say until they come apart. Hardened seats aren't really necessary unless the integral seats are really beat up. It's a myth you need them to run unleaded gas.

for a machine shop i use IDJ at 696 & grosebeck , and they do great work reasonable they also turn cranks
