I know its the wrong section but i figured motown would give me the best shot at finding what
Im looking for.Most guys here already have big boy motors and i was hoping someone might still
have a little one in their garage lol. Id really like to find a 4bolt short block at a decent price
but will consider any ready to run roller shortblock. Thanks and im sorry if i have pissed anyone off

If i didnt already have a 302 turbo kit and a good c4 i would build a chevy! Alot easier to find a 4bolt block!

i would rather have a 2 bolt and get splayed billet main caps thats what i did and it should hold just find.

actually i heard its stronger when you do the played main caps then getting a 4 bolt motor.

Not worth it on a stock 302 block. The webbing splits up the block, not from crank issues. Buy an aftermarket block and have at it. Stock blocks are ticking time bombs past 500 HP no matter what you do to them, in most cases.
