Looking at a 08 shelby GT 5 spd, 91k miles. Very clean. Guy is firm on 17k. I know these are fairly rare but not sure with the higher mileage. What are your guys thoughts.

Weak sauce....V8 with V6 power.....with an appearance package. It's no terminator, those still catch my eye.

I think the price is high but it's nice. Hell, you could buy a newer Ecoboost Mustang for a bit more with many less miles and the same HP.

With that said, if you're dead set on a V8, look for a 5.0 S197 or S550.

Seems pretty steep on the price. Last year a good buddy bought one with way less miles i think it had like 28K on it and a ton of bolt-ons including a Roush blower. He paid right at about $20K i belive. His is the white with silver stripes.

Thanks guys. You are all correct. Car looks great and super nice, my wifes G37s is quicker and I should hold the money and put towards a newer coyote. Thanks for the help. As I really do like these cars and think they will hold value, a 90k mile car isn't.

It depends what you want though. I think the price is high also but the body style is the best. If you don't care so much about super fast and just want a cruiser find this body style but just at a more reasonable price. It isn't always just about fast.

By far this body style looks the nicest and the front clip is nicer than the regular GT. I think I need to get a coyote first then look for another Shelby GT with lower miles.

I agree. By the time I bought my Camaro (which I wanted as a second car for a very long time), it was already slower than most of the performance cars out. But I sure enjoy it for what it is.

I think a cheaper coyote car would be better, just my opinion. You can get a coyote car for that price.

This coyote is $500 more with less miles.
