well worth the watch, trust me. It just kind of hits home since I grew up in sterling heights and I'm sure a lot of people did here too. Let's not turn this into a pissing match, it's just amazing what god can do.

wow crazy stuff, i grew up in sterling heights too. its crazy to think that something like that coulda happened to me. i used to work with someone when i was younger that lived in detroit and she needed a ride home and it was late at night. drove in her sub and about 6 guys walk out to the middle of the street flagging us down, i panicked and floored the truck and swerved around all of them, she said we are lucky i did that because they would have for sure tried to rob us or worse. crazy shit, i try to stay away from detroit as much as possible now. very glad he survived and is taking life seriously now.
 
Grew up at 7 mile and chandler park drive. One thing you dont see a lot is the old back alleys, even back in the 80's you avoided them.
 
this is actually my buddy from highschools cousin. we were talking about it today and how this video is getting a lot of attention.
 
Just amazing. I can't believe how the shooters family can actually be on his side after knowing what he done, on top of that cheer him on. I would go nuts if it was my son and the shooters family cheers him on. But justice has been served. There is a god ppl don't ever doubt him.
 
Id kill them all. Now was it his so called friend that shot him? I didn't understand that part? "here's 30$ and oh wait some lead beebees to get you up to the next wieght class!" WTF pieces of shit!
 
i've always kinda had the same view of the east side, just not a place i belong. very moving story, i hope the kid doesn't survive his sentence.
 
It's bullshit that the shooter only got 35 years. That was pure pre-meditated murder, it was just some kind of a crazy fluke that the kid survived. If you get a 35 year sentence, doesn't that mean you're out in like 15 years? That guy will have plenty of time to kill other people.
