Local Drive Shaft Shop

Looking for a custom length drive shaft for my 69 Mustang. I have a list of shops that aren't local, I'd prefer to use a local shop if possible. Any recommendations? Shaft length should be 49.5", I already have the yoke and companion flange set for 1330 u-joints.

I used CCI Driveline with good results.

More on the expensive side, but they are not that far from the Clem.

I've used CCI several times and they are 30 minutes from the Clem. Great guys to deal with.

Shaft Masters Lincoln Park (iirc) made me a shaft, 1-day turnaround. Dynotech in Troy is also an excellent shop as well. I have had several done by them.

CCI quoted me $240 for a steel shaft or $440 aluminum if I use my (supplied) trans yoke and companion flange.

I'm pretty sure I'll be using CCI, any reason I should go with aluminum for the additional cost? It's an occasional cruiser and won't see the track.

I like those 1 day shops. Ann Arbor driveshaft in ypsi was like that most the time before he closed up too.

Just go with the steel.
