Took my Ram in today for hail repair. I called Friday and discussed a truck. They knew I needed 4 door for kids but came and picked me up in a 2 door chevy ! I got a little mad and they took me to another lot and got a 4 door but still a chevy ! I guess it's better than nothing. Don't laugh if you see me on the road it's a dog.

Yea i hate that shit.. I got to les stanford chevy cause it close. I love taking in my 2500HD ECSB and getting a fuckin cruze to drive.

Do you realize how much the insurance is for a dealership to loan out those vehicles? It is OUTRAGEOUS. Took LOTS of convincing before I left where I was before the owner would let us buy a mini-van for a loaner because of how many people needed a van for their kids. We never got a truck, only because the dealerships insurance carrier would have RAPED us.

Sorry but when you bring your car in for warranty repairs they should give you a comparable loaner vehicle to drive. I am not going to bring in a Yukon Denali XL only to get back a sonic. Remember the only reason a dealer supplies a loaner is for repairs within the warranty period (because of a manufacturing defect).

What dealers do you go too? I always had loaners for repairs to give out.

We had an Acadia in for repairs and one time they gave us a Aveo. I had to make two trips to get both my kids to school.

I work at a chevy dealship and we keep 2013 malibus, cruzes and silverados in out rental fleet. We try to accomate everyone and give them a similar vehicle to what they are bringing in for service. Plus we never charge for a loaner, no matter how many days you keep it over after your vehicle is done. Customer satisfaction I guess.

Yeah, the insurance company told us if we gave out trucks our rates would have gone up a stupid high amount of money. I cannot even remember, but it was many thousands of dollars a year. We had Malibu's, Cobalt's (then Cruze's), an Uplander, Impala's, and an Aveo.
