Livernois Tuned 2010 Taurus SHO vs. 2011 Mustang GT Video

it wont fit between the fenders

I dont know why you keep saying that. I had to measure that engine for fitment of the mustang bay and it fits perfectly. We even had to mock up the rear drive ecoboost with a mustang bellhousing.

I personally measured the rear drive ecoboost 3.5 that is going in the trucks and the 5.0 that was on the stand right next to it. the turbos stuck out 1 mm more that the 5.0 headers and the exhaust came out at the exsact same spot.

It was a business decision to kill the 3.5 ecoboost mustang. The 3.7 was only making 285 at the time and the 5.0 was supposed to make 425-430. They thought a 350 hp mustang would fill the gap. Well fast forward to now...the v6 is making 305 hp and the gt is making 412, there is no case for a 350 hp mustang.

I already know of some guys at my old job retrofitting rwd ecoboost parts on a 3.7 mustang .

This guy is correct. Ford COULD fit the V6 Ecoboost in a AWD Fusion. Anything CAN be done, but why would they do that when it would rival, if not shit on the Mustang for the same price tag?

Bad ass cars, it was a good time.
