After seeing the GT800R we built for a customer in Massachusetts, we had a customer approach us about building a GT1000R. It has a very long list of mods, and would probably be easier to say what wasn't modified, but it is powered by a Livernois built big bore GT wet sump aluminum block, CNC heads, GT supercar cams, and a 4.0L Whipple.
The GT800 made 862 RWHP / 798 RWTQ and has been a best of 9.70 @ 148 mph at a weight of 4,090 lbs.
The "GT1000R", a 2009 GT500 purchased new from our own 91Trunk, made 1006 RWHP / 916 RWTQ on the dyno a few days ago. The dyno sheet can be seen below... over 800 RWTQ at 2,600 rpms!
I'll get some photos asap.
