Once again, you guys are building something I'd consider to be a dream car (if only it was a little newer!). Looking forward to updates as work progresses!

Why not do an LS7 crate with a cam? Hmm.. Badass caddy! I want to see sime whitewalls on it! :)

I was thinking the same thing.......my stockish carbed and hydrolic cammed LS7 is going high 8`s with a 100 shot..9.61 without.....and thats with factory cut crank factory ty. rods and untouched Ls7 heads.......but its in a Mustang on pump gas........Don`t get me wrong this motor will be bad ass but will cost more then 2x as much to biuld then my motor...

Does the car have anything done to it to enhance the visual appearance or just a stocker. I heard a rumor that one of the Tuetals (sp?) was doing something with one of these. They are great sleeper cars. Guy in the St.louis area has a Stock looking CTS non-V making approximately 900 Hp at the tires. Not exactly sure of all the specs on that car just seen a pic from a friend.

I believe that was a newer model...this is still the first gen body style. They changed to the new style in 2009. I believe Paul Jr. bought 2 CTS-V's when they were doing the Cadillac theme bike...then again, who knows how much of that show is real and how much is fake and/or product placement
