Today, I went to the track with our 2011 Mustang GT auto. I got in the car, drove 40 miles to the track, went to the staging lanes right off the street, and made 3 hotlap passes within 20 minutes, and drove 40 miles home.

Only new mod was our aluminum 1-piece driveshaft. Previous mods were Stainless Works Headers, Catted Mid-Pipe, and Catback, 4.10 Ring & Pinion, Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune, and skinnies/drag radials.

The car still has the stock airbox and no suspension mods other than a swaybar relocation bracket.

The next mods will be a converter and CAI.

Best ET 11.61 @ 118.79 mph

I didn't have video of my passes from yesterday, so I got in the car today, drove 40 miles to the track, went to the staging lanes right off the street, and made 3 hotlap passes within 20 minutes, and drove 40 miles home.

Here are my slips in order of time and video.

nice runs

Great weather to hit the track too. It was cold in the morning.

Did they have test n tune today?

Very nice Rick. How do you like the new 5.0 compared to the GT500(stock)?

Thanks! The GT500 seems put together nicer (but ours is a base car). I think this car is much more fun than our 2010 GT500.

I would have loved to go in the morning. No test and tune today, but these runs were made at 6:30pm

Rick- If you ever leave Livernois, can I get your job?

LOL, the car has 900 miles and I counted 75 track slips so far

what does this thing weigh?

Haven't scaled it, but I would guess 3,750+

Man that thing runs good. What does the stock converter stall to? Is that a manual 1-2 shift or just leaving it in D?

WOW... Do you plan on doing a blower?? If that car hooks with a blower and stall, that is going to be a monster....
