Lions 2022-2023 thread

So after last weeks game, it is pretty obvious how screwed we will be if Goff goes down. A lot of the press is saying cut them both and spend a few bucks for a quality backup. The O line is looking pretty good, though, so maybe Goff can make it without getting too battered?

I hope they can take a big step up this year.

Suffering through a prolonged stretch of mediocrity sucks......trust me I know.

As a Bills season ticket holder since 2004 and a fan since the mid 70's I can feel your pain.

I think you got the right coach to get them over the hump.

Nov 24th our teams go head to head in the Turkey Bowl :)

Thursday night football..Game 1st game of the NFL.. anyone wanna discuss? Lol
Wow pumped up the Rams and Pad Statford and they flip flopped like a fish out of water

Even I wasn't expecting that.

The Bills turn it over 4 times and still win by 3 TD's

With most of the media anointing the Bills I felt a lot of dread going into this one

With a 15-2 record the SB Champs usually win these home openers and the Bills being favored by 2.5 was a further slap in the Ewes face and bulletin board material.

Go Bills

Well, it was certainly an exciting loss! It was quite an almost come back! At this point in my lions fandom, I am just happy they are entertaining.

It all starts with being competitive then you learn to win.

The coaches get lots of good film to break down and show where a play here or there can make a difference.

That creates buy in and everyone looking after their assignment.

Both losses have been exciting. Any thoughts on why he went for a field goal at the end? It seemed like they were like 9 for 10 on 4th down, not sure why they didn't just try for it - making it is pretty much the win. It almost seemed like an out of character call.

Coach Campbell was pretty upset with himself in his presser for choosing to kick a FG

The Bills loss was just as painful they dominated them in TOP 40mins to 20 mins

Total yds ect ect

The Phins had 3 drives sustained by penalties called on failed 3rd downs these ultimately led to all their points

The Bills had one first down by penalty when the Phins jumped offside on a 3rd and 1.

Tough loss but the revenge game in late December weather in Buffalo will show the Bills are the better team.

Most pundits feel the Bills should have won and Dolphins are polishing a turd thinking they might be a better team based on this win.

48-45 should have got the Leos the game of the week slot tonight at 8pm on NFLN instead its the Pats vs Pack

The 3pm Slot is TBD so maybe?

The Bucs vs KC is Wed at 8pm

The Bills vs Ravens gets 2 slots 1am tomorrow morning and Thursday at 3pm
