Limit on Bumping the For Sale Threads?

The mods decided to have a minimum post count before you can post in the For Sale Section...So, how about making a time limit between pushing the thread to the top? There are a few severe abusers of the BTT feature. Some forums have a minimum 3 day wait. The BTT abusers seem to think their $25 item is much more important than anyone elses items are (they aren't!). Legitmate items sometimes disappear in less than a day for the people who don't live on the forum.

Milan fixed the problem by not allowing threads to be brought back up...

I wonder if there is a way we can automatically cycle things, so the first page or 2 get fair exposer time. Kinda like the top of the page is new stuff and the bottom is being automatically bumped for a few times?

I don't even know if thats possible.
 
what if your post is automatically bumped every 36 hours for twice then every 48 hours for twice, then no more bumpage? if its locked it doesn't get bumped?
 
Can I make my threads pink? I wouldn't need to bump them then because I'm pretty sure most of the members would be drawn to them. :D

if someone wants to bump their ad, dont pay attention to it, we shouldnt have rules for that until it gets ridiculous.

We cant just keep making more and more rules to accomodate everyones like annoyances.

ie....large sigs, multi color sigs with motion, post whoreing, etc...
