Lift question

those are nice, but i think you can get a hoist for about that if not cheaper. I am not 100% sure though.
 
Those are OK for brakes and stuff. If you have to do trans or other stuff under the car the hoist is in the way. I would get a 2 post or a 4 post like you had
 
I'm not sure we can get another 4-post in our garage. There is a giant beam that runs across the garage. I wouldn't get him a 4-post because that is something that he needs to get himself. I was thinking that I could get him this one for the other bay. It might be easier for him to work on other parts of the car without having to deal with the big lift or moving cars around.
 
It would work for that. There are others smiliar to that but cheaper than a snap-on. Anything snapon will cost more

Mark works for Snap-on and I think he can get a discount. I don't actually go out and purchase things for him. I just write it in a card and then he gets whatever brand he wants. I was just doing some amateur investigating.

geez. and I just bought a MAC toolbox.
Tell him we need a snapon guy. We have called several times and they just ignore us.
