Last Call for Challenger and Charger!

I think they will hold out for a while longer. There is still money to be made. The Challenger and Charger are very old technology and would really need a ground-up redesign to stay relevant. It will be easier to come out with a new EV that is a competitor to the Mach-E and Tesla, then probably bring back the Demon (or whatever else) nameplate at a later date. That is my guess, still sad to see the competition go though.

That is what shocks me - they are still selling. Why stop building them?

Dec 2023 last car rolls off brampton still along time from now

To continue being the best muscle car

Bringing back the Durango Hellcat for one more round. So much for the one year special!

Seriously. Just put that motor in EVERYTHING for a few months. I guarantee you a wait list for every single one they build.

Pay attention everyone, this is the beginning of the end. We are in the greatest horsepower era EVER right now. And it is almost over. Yea, we may get some nice electric stuff. But it will be 20 to 30 years before you can drive an EV to the track, hotlap it, then drive it home. You can do that right now with production cars from every major OEM. And it is about to be HISTORY.

dont forget the subscription models that are coming to each car platform. this is going to be so annoying. ICE cars will rise in value imo.

If I never left the state, I would be all over a performance EV (at least once someone comes out with a convertible). But I have taken the Camaro to Texas, new Mexico, Colorado, and I just got back from Tennessee. Tampa Bay in December. No way am I making that trip in an EV. That being said, my pickup has never left Michigan, so I am just waiting for the EV Silverado to be released and available. Maybe even a Lightning if there wasn't a 2+ year wait list.

So anyone getting that "Final year" Hellcat?
