Thanks Fastguy for hosting us and taking us out shooting, and some offroading, today. The gun collection is amazing!
 
haha, a gangsta grip on an AK-47. That's a first for me, but I'm military and I only see AKs in a military aspect. I've been lucky enough to fire a fully auto AK a couple times before though. I've also been able to handle RPG-7s, RPKs, and Dragunovs but never got to fire those as of yet.

Looks like fun times for sure.

yeah it's just for me being military it's not normal seeing it on an AK. I see a lot of our guys and special forces guys using the grips on the M4's. I like them for CQC but otherwise not a big fan when I want to hit a target 300+ meters away.

Dunhams will, they are $299 right now.

You gotta be careful with WASR10. These are modified single stack 10rd guns from during the ban.
There magwells have been cut larger to allow a 30rd (normal) mag to fit. Many of them were not fitted with the proper 30rd feed ramp. Some work, some don't. Also Romanian guns are famous for canted sights. Basically the front sight is not aligned with the rear and no amount of adjusment will fix it. The front sight base must be removed and reinstalled straight. Not super difficult stuff but you should know.

There are dozens of AK variants without these issues, you can also get factory or custom US made AK's of very high quality. Vector Arms is excellent.

Also 7.62x39 ammo has all but dried up in stores around here. You will have to ship it in if you want to enjoy your new toys. I personally helped clean out the Dunhams on 12/John R :icon_mrgr

You can get a Rain check though.

All true, that WASR has a canted front sight, have been too busy to drill the pins and move it. The feed ramp is fine, little mag wobble from overzealous Romanian machining. I had a hard time finding ammo so I just buy it by the case.
