They are the same casting design its just that the truck heads are cast in mexico

L92 Casting Numbers:
5364
823

and the LS3 Vette heads are cast in Michigan

LS3 Casting Numbers:
821

GM uses the same casting design on both (port shape and configuration and flow) but the numbers are different for tracking purposes since there are 2 locations

actually if u measure port location they are all shifted slightly different than each other. and also its not by a lot but they all flow a little different too....

wow never heard of that, interesting info there

same here, GM doesn't even seem to know that
like i said it slightly. well it sucks when u try to run a cnc program on one set of heads and then u put in the same design different casting number head in the machine and well when it touches one whole side of the port and not the other its obvious they're shifted. sucked.....so that made for 2 different programs we had to make.

I heard some castings are for the assembled heads and they are a little better casting???

they are nice...running them on a 6.0L and they pull hard!
bump 4 ya

bump trying to get any extra stuff out of the house by the end of this month!
