Hopefully this will be good enough for doing some video editing, if so I'll have some cool stuff posted soon.:33:

More memory would be all I would consider for video editing. I have 4 GB in my laptop and 12 GB in my desktop.

x2 I have been editing my family dvds with 4 gig of rams on my q8600 2.2 quad and it was NOT FUN upgraded to 8 and runs soooo much better! However you do have a faster processor so I say try it first but if your editing DV files you will walk threw them QUICKLY and SMOOTHLY.

P.S. Nice rig :)

I started doing a lot of big photo editing and video production in HD. I help out a pro wedding photographer and do video slideshows and stuff. It was such a pain on my MacBook Pro that I upgraded and bought a quad core Mac Pro and stuck 12 GB in it. You should see this thing eat up 1+ GB videos for lunch. It's like sex, only better. :woot:
