My wife just called me to tell me that she got tagged in Livonia this afternoon. 38 in a 30 and the guy wrote her for 5 over. WTF?

For those asking about e-tickets: It's all done on the computer right in the squad car. No need for a ticket book and writing it with a pen and having carbon copies or whatever. You just type it up, print, and hand it to the offender. It gets logged in the system automatically so there's no more of getting a hold of someone to have the officer throw the written ticket in the trash before it gets turned in.
