I really did.......only $1.94 a gallon.......you could fill up
for the same cost too........if you had a car like mine....

what is so special about my car? It is a CNG.....Compressed
Natural Gas! And yes They sell the stuff for only $1.94 a gallon
at many Meijer's & other gas stations. The price has been
$1.94 a gallon for two years - doesn't go up & down.

Why don't they make more cars like this?
:dontknow:

......and yes, this car is for sale http://www.motownmuscle.com/forums/...-Fuel-1.94-Gallon-*-59-000-Miles-6-950-Photos

I'm gonna go with the whole compressed anything likes to go boom when punctured.

You wouldn't believe the testing these things go through.
A friend of mine works in a testing lab - they put these
tanks through EVERYTHING, including the 12 gauge
shotgun @ pointblank!

These cars are indeed, very safe.

A 3500lb car going 45 mph has a lot more force than 2 gram pellets going 200 mph. I didn't say they haven't tested it, but I still sure as hell wouldn't own one. Ever see what a compressed air tank does when the valve is knocked off?

I'm sure you're right. Some terrorist will most likely buy it for his next "car bomb".

Probably because there's only 12 places to fill up in all of Michigan.

You can also buy & install a Home fueling system if you have natural gas at home.
There would be more public gas stations if more folks bought CNG cars & trucks.

The Idea is if you drive in SE Mich. there are plenty of 24 hour stations to fill up.

i can beat that price...i filled up there a few weeks ago....( 84 gallons ) and when i walked in to pay..they said its free...yes..f ..r..e..e.. i though i was on some kinda game show or something .. i though as soon as i left the parking lot...i see whoop whoop..or something..buttt after talking with them..they told me DTE had hooked up the new NCG system..but wasnt hooked up to there system so they had no way to charge for it..sooo there just giving it away for free..

fyi i own a limo company and was filling up my NCG TROLLEY.

also i have a small NCG fill station at my shop..i bought it used for $5,000 which might sound like alot..but i figure even witht the cost of the unit it equals out to be $1 per equivalent gallon :woot:

Very cool indeed! What city is your shop in & would you sell
to other guys as well?

Do you need a Civic limo?

CNG is likely the fuel of the future but currently there isn't enough fill stations for me to buy one :( It's nothing new, a lot of public transportation buses use CNG.

Some VW's run on CNG or at least in Germany they have that option. Just an FYI for those who don't want to purchase Asian.

actually im in lansing..well okemos..so probly alil far of a drive for most people..i would diffently sell to anyone...but my pump is a fuelmaker..which pumps slowww..its about a gallon an hour..buttt i would like to invest in a larger storage type tank..so i could do fast fills..im just not sure how to do it yet

A lot of cars have been sold for fleet useage to run on CNG. I met a guy at an auto x once that was running an 80's Ford truck with a big block running on CNG. It was pretty bad ass. He worked for a company that did conversions.

when i lived in australia every cab was cng powered, and that was 4 years ago. and if i understand correctly, most metro cars around here have moved that way too. its getting our heads around the idea we may have a bomb in our trunks that i think is difficult (for me especially). The reality is that most countries use it day in and day out safely. we just havent got there yet
