You know that landing hurt like hell
:werd:Bad decisions make good stories.
hell yes to making anything into a ramp! lol -- and i hope the kid in the background got away from wearing half shirts !!
One year camping when I was 12ish... We went camping in howell/brighton... We were riding bikes and trail went down the side of this hill and had a sharp turn away from the lake at the base of the hill... So we made a sweet ramp and to jump the lake... So I said screw it... I'll do it first... I come barellig down the trail and hit the ramp... Go up... And smashed my head into a tree branch and go flying into the lake... That was fun...bones heal, chicks dig scars, glory lasts forever
same here first time stiches my mom buys me a new mountain bike for christmas i make a ramp to jump this bike that iv had in my posession for 15 mins. i get going as fast as i can hit the ramp head on beautiful jump land it perfect go to slam the rear brake and slide the bike sideways and have a cool ending. not so much i slam the front brake go flying over the handle bars smash my face on the cement put my top teeth through my lip and broke my arm.the first time i got stitches was from a ramp , a small piece of wood and a cinder block , got going as fast as i could on my bike and ..........the board fell , i went over the handle bars and landed on the street right on my chin and slid to a stop....7 stiches later i was ready to try it again..lol
Awesome ramp stories guys! Cracking up over here. I do not know how I never broke any bones on my bikes. Me and some friends rode and built ramps almost daily. We broke frames, handlebars, pedals. Hilarious. Aaaand we make killer dirtbike and streetbike sound effects while doing all of those antics.
