junk

Ive been thinking starting with a 351, not sure if I would keep it a 351(or 357 if needed), or go bigger. Its all just a big clusterfuck of thoughts right now.

If your building a new motor don't bother fucking with a 8.2 deck unles you have money for a good block. A buddy of mine put together a nicve 347 last year and for what he spent he could of done a pretty stout windsor.. He wants the spray the car but is scared to break the factory 303 block and tear up a good bottom end..

If I did another small block car I wouldn't even fuck with 302 stuff even if it was a street car for my sister lol

i would have to agree

I would recomend build the 9.5 deck windsor over the 8.2, stock block to stock block. the 9.5 deck windsor blocks are scads stonger.

I want to spray the hell out of my 331 but im aware the stock block has low limits. What is the most I could spray at my setup? Its all D.S.S. 4340 with dished pistons, a main girdle, and pro tray windage tray??? 150-200?

well the stock lower end 302 with gt 40 heads took 225 like 40 times a few with the fuel pump off, just set it up safe with alot of timing and lots of fuel

Just think Joe it went 10.70's in my car with 11.5.1 Compression Ratio, Solid Flat Tappet camshaft. That cam is made for higher compression (13.1) Get those heads you have, a loose converter and a 4.56 gear. It'll go much faster, no worries about Nitrous, just a bent rod or two :) lol.
