Not a good idea. The Keith Hypers from what I have seen are very sensistive to detonation. The safe number in my mind is no more then 100 shot.

i think your rite,i have 3 hyper pistons with the ring lands broke off,but i dont know how much got thrown at them.

You gotta set them up sloppy lol and big ring gaps. If you try to run a recommended ring gap for a fordged piston you'll butt the rings and tear the glads up prob what happened.

that and like Sean said the wont handle any dentonation just be safe with the timing and let if fly.

I'm willing to bet they would take a 200 hit all day if set-up right
 
I had a set in a 351w years ago. They took 175 all day long, that motor had hundreds of passes on it. I got cocky one day trying to get a 9 second pass out of it and melted down number 4 on a 225 hit. It went 10.2x on that pass, I even drove it home with the dead hole since I didn't have a trailer. :lol:

well maybee i will spray it next year,i will just try and keep it safe.
