This began with myself needing to get some Dyno tuning time on my new set-up and my buddy simply curious as to what his Fox Vert makes. This is not intended as a spectator day, rather time for people who would like some time on a Dyno be it to tune, or just want to see where they are.


Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! June 22. I'm calling out all the local MI guys/gals to strap it on the Dyno with me @ X&M Hot Rods, Mt. Pleasant, MI. This will be open to anyone running a car on the Dyno; cost will be $80 for 3 pulls, or do as I will be doing myself (using the time for tuning) $125 for the 1st hour & $80 each hour after. We will be starting between 9-10am. PM me, (but best to text)or call/text for further information.

That I don't know. I'll have to ask Ed. I'll get back to you when I hear back. Just to clarify you'll be basically doing the same as myself except your tuner will be coming through wireless correct?

Yes wireless tune. Make a pull, send off the file hopefully get one back and go again.
 
The $125 for the 1st hour is you renting time on the Dyno to do your tuning. If you just want glory #'s it's $80 for 3 pulls. No clue on pricing for him to do your tuning (I know that's not what you're wanting or hinting at) I don't set the price schedule and if you don't care for it go to your favorite shop. ;-)
 
81z, he must be out for the night. I'll let you know when he gets back to me. I couldn't see it being an issue if you're willing to pay the hourly rate.
 
81Z, good to go on the remote tune, it just falls under the hourly price schedule as I'll be utilizing.

Guys, just get ahold of me at the number above for details if you end up wanting to make it. I won't be around today and am not sure what kind of time I will even be able to check on my phone until later this eve.

Thanks Chris, I cant imagine a shop that tunes would be very accommodating to a guy just wanting dyno time to remote tune. Kinda a slap in the face to the shop. 20 years ago doing a 4th gear WOT pull on the street wouldn't have bothered me. Then again I only had a 185hp trans am and not an 750hp mustang. I will give them a call if I go with the remote tune option.

Does anyone admit to being Justin's buddy? We have met, I had/have a red second gen Z28 with a pretty healthy cam. Back then you had the green Bird. I work at Corning as well, started at HIMS and hang out in process engineering now at the plant.

I work at HIMS also. We have a few car guys in the plant.. But we are the only ford guys.. I have probably saw you around what's your name?
