It's that time again! Let's see if we can get some folks out this month. We had a request to try something new and those at the last meeting picked this place. The Eastside meeting will be at Rosie O'Grady's at 16 & Mound Rd in Sterling Heights. I hear the food here is pretty good. And checking their website the Thursday special is a $5.99 burger.

We usually meet around 7pm but some people arrive earlier. Unfortunately I will be out of town for work so I will be unable to participate. But hopefully everyone else can still attend and have fun without me there to anchor it. For the newbies, we usually meet and snag a few tables so we can group together. There's usually a Motown shirt or two in the crowd. Or you can just ask for Motown. Whomever grabs the table first usually leaves the Motown name with the host/hostess.

We had a good suggestion to try to set up a Motown day for the Bakers Sunday cruise. I gotta pick a day and try to get that set up.

I dont care if we do a go-cart rental. Our gatherings, IMO, should be related to something with a motor, racing, or both. Just my .02.

We've had a Kart 2 Kart event before. That was pretty fun. Just tough picking a date to try to appease everyone's schedules. We can see what we can get set-up. I will probably have to lean on the 3 guys who offered to help since I will be out of town for work 2 wks each month here for June & July.
