Jumped on the bandwagon, Drag radial question.

I just bought some Hoosier Drag radials, I have never used DR's before. What are some tip's? Air pressure, burnout length? Thanks.

So far I did good with 14psi cold and 14 psi hot so....14-18 psi roughly. 4-5 seconds of smoke, nothing abnormal...275/60/15 on an 8" rim. I also rotated them last outing..I plan on doing that every outing. I'm a rookie sharing my info! These have netted me 1.58 on motor and 1.41 on hose. My bests ever.

You might even try them with more pressure to start. The right suspension setup might be the key to them hooking great at the higher pressure's but they do work.

Al Fox, AlSS590 (i believe is his user name on here) runs 19-21 psi. Best 60' is around 1.49, but is mostly is in the 1.51-1.53 range. Runs 10.9x-11.15 depending on the weather in a 3350# car w. driver.

Shoot him a pm on www.michiganspeed.com if you want more tips.
