I ended up with that hood. Good thing I have a bodyman to get it fitted. It looks like its going to be a bitch. I know anthony offered to trade me his if I had that stocker painted to match his car. He might make you that deal. His is a 2.5 inch.
 
Hey Jordan if your still lookng for a hood look into a goodmark a little on the high price side but the quality is hands down the best I've seen. How much clearance do you need anyways??

from the pictures it didnt look bad, what kinda hood is it?
 
Nice project man! When I was 16, my father and I were putting together my Camaro. 439ci BBC, TH400, ect. Fun stuff for sure! Now I'm 19, and nothin beats a good night out in the garage wrenchin on the racecars!

thanks dude. yea its fun when i can roll it out in the driveway and stuff this laying on the cold floor sucks
 
welp ive got everything now except trans fluid,antifreeze and i need to drive over mrmach1's for rad hold downs.... thanks customcarguy68 for the hoses and put on the trans cooler and lines i got about an hour of work left.

An hours worth of work, then 2-3 months of a wait to drive it. Will be nice to have it ready when the weather finally get nice.

im actualy waiting on daves car right now so i can do a few things to the '87 first. hopely i will have the '86 done by july. its eaither going 350 chevy or 4.6 ford. dont know yet... cant decide on what we want to do with the car...
 
last night me and pops got alot done. transcooler and lines are on, fan and shroud, radiator, radiator hoses. thanks gary mrmach1 for the clamps and bolts
