Joe Ruggirello, Gapp and Roush Mustang II

Got the underside in color today! I just can't believe how it looks now compared to how bad it did when I found it.

Here is a reminder of how bad it looked right after I cut out the coil overs and ladder bars.

Looking much better!

Am I exhausted!! We spent 12 solid hours on SD today. We're pushing hard for paint, so today was spent working the engine compartment, cowl, roof, and upper quarters one last time. We finished all of those areas and worked until 8pm putting them all in final primer. The rear interior portions of the car were also cleaned up and now in final primer. Got primer in those hard to get areas down inside the front and rear portions of the quarter panels. I'll get some more photos posted next weekend once I finish the suspension component work and get some taken at the shop...didn't stop today to take pics:)

Spent today on the car, despite the cold temps. Was able to finish blasting the front suspension small parts and start on the fiberglass bumpers. We're planning on painting the rest of the car in the next couple of weeks.

Here's a photo of the engine compartment in final primer. Sure has come a long way since the project began! Its basically back to as it was when built in '75. Going to look great in body color.

Here is the rear floor area in final primer as well. Very little of this area will be seen, even with the hatch open, but we'll be spraying the rear portions body color. The tubs get carpet and the entire tank area is covered with a false floor panel that fastens in with dzus fasteners and carpeted on top. This area has come a long way as well. No more holes!
