Jeremy Lusk died *Very graphic*

My brother in law and I had the honor of ridding with him when we were younger. I was 16 and he was 18. We would always meet up at the loretta lynn national race. Really cool dude!!

The point is none of this had to happen. This doesn't mean he got what he deserved or it isn't sad that he passed, it's just that the whole episode was preventable.

You're right it didn't have to happen but him doing a backflip trick was probably like us riding a peddle bike. As crazy as the sport is I'm surprised this doesn't happen more. Every time I make a pass I make sure my belts are nice and tight just in case something happens. I would never dream of doing something like he did and I'm sure there are many people that wouldn't want to make a pass down the 1/4 mile like we do.

RIP

Holy Shit! That's disturbing. If you watch the two videos of the crashes, the difference is that in the first crash in 2007 (i think) he rolled his head forward towards his chest allowing a natural "summer salt roll if you will. In this new one his head rolled back causing the catastrophic injuries. If he'd been able to roll his head forward again he might have possibly not been injured this time either.

Very sad, especially when I realized that I have a son his age.

Rest in Peace young man.
