:(

One of my closest friends races street bikes and it makes me extremely uncomfortable as I'd hate to see him get hurt.

You get so used to seeing these horrible wrecks and the people walking away that it takes something like this to remind you of the inherent danger in sports like that. RIP.

i seen this the other day... its so horrible. I guess in any light he loved riding and riding is what he did. its a dangerous life style.

best wishes to his family.

They make it look so easy when everything goes right, just goes to show the fine line they push everytime they ride.

Very sad, great rider, RIP :(

Vids like that make me sick, i hate to see someone loose there life like that so young. Obviesly he knew his risks when doing tricks like that but no one plans on something like that to happen.

RIP and i hope his family can make it though this with all the best.

he was one hell of a rider i saw him at a metal mulisha performance a while ago. my prayers are with his family RIP

Definitely won't be watching this one out of respect for the dead.

Really, really, sad.

yeah i read this earlier and haven't brought myself to watching someone basically dying.. rip

I clicked the link before I read what it was about, had I taken my time I would have read the text, but not watched the video. The part that shocked me is how rare a fatality is at a pro event. It just goes to show how refined their craft really is.

Additional info, he didn't die on impact:

While at the Costa Rica X-Knights, Jeremy Lusk had a horrific crash and he died couple hours later. Please pray for his soul. In hospital he made it through the surgery which was great, because they only gave a 5% chance. They drained a hematoma from the skull. He has an enlarged brain, so they could not close his skull back up.
