Jalopnik tests the SRT8 Lineup

It also gets carbon fiber and brushed trim. That's in addition to the Luxury package, not sure how common that is on the other vehicles.

Either way, they are going in the right direction. Maybe the journalist has a different feeling about how it stacks up versus other "high end" vehicles, but the bottom line is they are doing something right.

I've been saying that since the beginning.

I would get Plum Crazy Purple if I got one. Only car purple should ever go on and would look good on.

Can't order the green or purple? Is there a paint supply issue?
They do have a green one sitting at Dick Scott right now if anyone is looking.

Green with Envy for sure, no idea on Plum Crazy.

Tsunami, yeah.

There's one at Parkway too, but it's an auto.

The green was only in '11 and short lived. SRT Challenger colors for 2012 are Black, Bright Silver, Bright White, Tungsten, Redline, and Header Orange.

I took this for a spin today.

The interiors really are amazing. Everything fits and feels great. The cars are almost too smooth for my taste, but I'm not really their target. The paddle shifters are actually kind of cool. They'll hold the gear in Sport mode.

I didn't test the sound system, but Gilles said that in the past they'd get the "ideal" system from the vendor, makes cuts to hit cost, and then get the trimmed down setup. This time they went with the "ideal" from the get go. He said they've got the freedom to make the vehicle they want now. That's just one example.

Take it for what it's worth, but I don't think I've read a review yet that doesn't rave about the 4 new SRTs.

Gilles quote on the front of the Charger "it looks like it should eat Civics"

The only ones that really catch my eye are the 300 and the Charger. Other than the power plant, is there any difference in the Challengers?

The power plant is the same too

Challenger has a manual standard. Other cars don't have it as an option. It's also got a top speed of 182, as opposed to 175.
