Its been a while, fellas.

For some reason, I decided to log on tonight. Its been years since I've been on here.
To all the people I used to talk to here...how ya'll doing? I miss you guys and all the late night shenanigan's in the pub!

Last time I was here:

My back didnt hurt all the time.
I had hair.
I had a muscle car.
I took more risk and didnt value my body or my sanity as much.
I worked on my own cars.
I had less money.

But its not all bad. Now that I'm a little bit older, here's the good:

I value my time more.
I understand you get what you pay for.
I'm not as impulsive and have found patience.
I love my family more and more each day.
I may not have a muscle car, but it's nice knowing that I can go out and buy any car I want now.
I've gained more hobbies that let my inner child smile.
I've learned who my real friends are.
Life is good and I'm enjoying the ride.

Maturing isn't all bad! Glad to hear you are seeing the good in it! I believe we met a couple times at picnics and/or other events probably 15-ish years ago. Thank you for the update! Keep on keeping on!

Well, I think what you've said pertains to most of us. I think I am older than most of the members and may even be the oldest of the few who still post...BUT, I still have some sort of muscle car and I am always looking for the next car I want to fool around with. Working on different cars all of the time makes me feel younger, although I don't feel so young at night anymre. Tylenol is your friend at my age

Welcome back! Honestly can't remember meeting but I am sure we crossed paths at an event or more likely a race (memory is first thing to go when you age). Maybe we need a 20 year reunion this summer. Been right about that long since I joined.

I agree a reunion meet would be cool! If we got something set up fairly early it'd be easier for everyone to get time off to make it.
