I don't want to race you anymore. I wish we coulda lined then up 2 summers ago before you had all the bugs worked out. At least then I might have won. :icon_lol:
Brad, yeah all thats left is to put it together and get some paint on the frame rails and such. I also have to tie the cage in with the frame. Some more cutting and welding and it'll be done. After that its tubs and sheet metal!
I want to go for a spin before the snow hits which will be a long ways away. It'll be sitting on its own within a week, drivable probably within 2 or 3.

I got the shocks all welded in, QA1 adjustable drag shocks with pretty stiff springs. I coated the rearend again with paint and its tough. I'll take better pics tomarrow. Hopefully I'll have a VID soon!
On a scale of 1-10....How hard was it to fab up and install the 4-link?
I'm going to be doing a parallel 4-link with a panhard bar when I get some work done on the Ranger over the winter and have done suspension work but no heavy fab work like that.
Its more time consuming than hard work, you just have to do your homework. There is PLENTY of info on how to do it, but I's say on unibody cars 8 or 9.
On a truck however its easy as hell. Pull the bed off and weld it in. S&W makes a kit that you can lay the back half frame on your original frame, weld it in place and chop your old frame out. Easy as cake.

Update: Car is back on the ground! I had it set originally way too low, it almost scrapped. Kicked it up 2 inches and tightened down the the springs some more becuase I wanted them very stiff. Other than that, its brakes, jungle gym cage, sheetmetal and the fuel system and shes back on the road!
