He better watch out, that AR is a weapon of war and could start killing people randomly on it's own.
 
I watched part of the video. The guy seems quite please to show off the firearms to be destroyed.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Look at EVERYTHING that has been going on for the last year and a half now. Not to be cold, but this country has been nothing but a bunch of push overs, and I honestly think that 60% of gun owners would hand them right in.

It already happened during the Trump administration with his bump stock ban. Trump turned thousands of law abiding citizens into felons over night with a stoke of his pen. 90 days to destroy or turn them in to the ATF.

That would of been the department of justice that did that. Jeff sessions was in charge, and he got fired just before it got passed.

Well it was recommended by Trump, that is true.

People were not felons overnight. There is always a timeframe of when things have to be destroyed or turned over.

I don't know the answer for bump stocks. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the ban a few months back. I think the mechanical aspect doesn't meet the legal wording of the ban. Not sure, I've never used a bump stock.

It did get struck down, well after mine and everyone else's was destroyed.

My point? It's already happened under the Trump administration. There's no denying it.

Why would you destroy it hahaha. Just take it off and toss it in the attic if you're worried. I'm one in the boat, if you come knocking you better bring the entire force and I promise you I'm a better shot then 99% those guys.

Yep. I was acknowledging that Trump indeed did recommend it. I agree he did it. He banned firearm parts, but not guns themselves. As I mentioned, I don't know the answer to whether bump stocks should be legal or not.
 
I am not knowledgeable on the topic of Bump Stocks. So assuming you had one based on this response.

Did they force you to turn it in?
Was it a registered item?

Yes, I was forced to destroy it. No, it was not registered. While I oppose most gun laws, I follow all of them as I don't much care for federal prison.
