yeah, paint scheme is kinda goofy for the LS, but on some colors itll look decent, Im still not sold on the red grille though

It might look good on red?

Actually, I think I'd kind of dig that a lot if it were red with the red stripes but the stripes had less gloss to off set them a bit. And the red wheels matched to the body color. And the grill roof and spoiler also just the body color red. Would completely kill what they were doing there but the idea has some potential. I love black cars with flat black stripes. I love body colored steelies. It would be kind of a similar idea to those.

I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry when I saw it on that billboard on WW the week before the cruise. When I saw a Mustang II sitting under it in nearly the same color scheme....I laughed.

Worst "special" offering from Ford since the body change in 2005. Thank god they are limiting production to 3500 a year for two years.

That would have been a great "Priceless" picture.

I saw them in person at the Dream Cruise and they looked god. I really liked the black one with the red stripes and I think there was a red one with black stripes that looked good. The wheels take some getting used to but they are growing on me.

Give me all the mechanical goodies of the Laguna Seca edition without the paint, thank you. I think it takes away from what may be the most attractive performance car available today.
You'll never see BMW put colors like that on an M3 or M5. IMO, it's just gaudy. I'll take one in Dark Blue, glass roof, no stripes, with those Dark Gray wheels.

No, it has cut outs. They are manual even so you have to decide how you want it and get under there and close off the tail pipes. I still say if I got one I'd have the dealer drop the tail pipes completely before I took delivery.

They are not cutoffs, they are smaller in diameter and are Ford's answer to drive by noise emissions. A valve system (like on corvettes) was explored but this was favored for costs reasons. The side pipes don’t flow any noticeable amount and are there for sound only. They come off the H pipe at a 90 degree. If you took off the normal exhaust and tried to use this as your exhaust you would easily lose 100hp.

there is a plate in the tip that SEVERLY limits the noise that comes from the side pipes, but its kinda funny how easy it is to remove that plate, you would have thought it was made easy to remove on purpose

The sad thing is, it's a super bad ass car I would love to have, it's just fuck ugly. I can't believe they have people that get paid for a living that greenlight shit like this.

The normal Boss 302 is very good looking. The LS I agree is FUGLY. you are 100% right there is no denying how bad ass the car is. Its the most serious/pupose built street Mustang since the 2000 Cobra R (and it will kick an R's ass).
