i have a 99 stang 5 speed,i was thinkin of putting nox(125),headers,high flow cats,76mm throttle body,373,and a set of cams not sure which ones yet.roughly how much hp do you think it will push?

your thoughts plz..
 
Care full you have the famous plastic intake...keep the timing down and the fuel up. stay away from backfires they tend to make those intakes go BOOOM.. A stick car is always a little harder on the motor when you are on the hose do to the constant on and off the bottle between gear changes (unless you power shift ). Nitrous is a greta hp gain but hard because it is a full hit every time you push the button...there is ways to make the hit softer but the easy and cheap way is 3 deg per 50 hp. It may not give you a full 125 hp but it will hit the motor softer and that is a happy stock motor..

HP numbers are only a guess but out of all the mods you are listing the gear and nitrous will give you the best bang for the buck..try a 4.10 gear...cams are expensive and not the best mod for a stock head that comes on that motor...You would need to do some port work and a better intake to gain on the cam change..

where would you recommend having the port work done and what intake too.i planned on getting a different intake along with the heads ported next summer. you think i should wait on the cams or just get done this summer?

to be honest go to one of the modd ford forums and look there...I have heard of using the navi heads and intake but not to sure on the modd stuff....you motor will be good with a 125 shoot but like i said keep a safe tune... timing is the key to a long life on the bottle
