Is there a MM meeting tonight?

Good thing you guys didn't go last night. I stopped there for dinner after getting some parts and there was a Twitter meeting. Bunch of weirdo's in that place last night.

About 60% of that bar was filled with them. I'd say 60-70 dudes and 9 women. What a sausage fest!!
 
I was going to ask about the meeting yesterday, but got busy at work (imagine that) and forgot..

So, is there a meeting? Tony, you are slacking...Just for that, the club will have to buy for the night...

I am not slacking. It is posted up in the Events Forum like Allan showed you. And it is posted on the Motown Calendar and shows up at the bottom of the page when you open the main forum list page. I decided to use the forums as they were intended. Hopefully everyone catches on and knows where to look now. ;)

That is all well and good...But, I'll bet a lot of people (me, anyway) don't look at the event's calander very often. I do like seeing a reminder in the section I visit a few times a day. The only reason I make it to the meetings at work is because Outlook posts a reminder 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Think of your reminder in the Pub as the Outlook Calander reminder :)

Just my .02, which doesn't mean much, but I do enjoy coming to the meetings...

I hear ya Gary and Ken. Everyone usually looks in the pub. I suppose I could keep them in there, but we do have the events forum and I kept getting questions as to why we weren't using it for things like that. So I am trying it out. Hopefully folks will get used to checking it as well as the usual pub stuff.

As they say, you can't please everybody all the time. So bear with us while we try this out.
 
Crap, forgot all about this. I want to go but going to the auto show tonight. My only free night left to go down there.

Do you make reservations? I'll be there around a little after 7. I am usually one of the first ones there and I can get the row of tables...I just wanted to know if you've set something up already...

Gary, no reservations. They don't take reservations. I tried in the past. So we just grab a few tables and spread out as needed. If that long table that is just to your left as you enter the bar area is open, grab that. It's one of the biggest and usually a good starting point as we take over the smaller round ones behind it.
