I have mixed feelings on TH350's. If you get one built right they can handle alot more then people think.

bought a glide w/ pro brake and a 1.98 1st gear..yes, a 1.98!

Powerglides work best for vehicle under 3000 pounds. For your application i'd go with a TH400, Stronger and easier to build than a TH350
