Ipod battery

Looking to replace the battery for the nano 1st gen, anyone ever replaced one?
can they be found local?
Saw a few on ebay but looks like china crap but then again its all china ehh..
 
good question, i have one of the first ipods that came out years ago and the battery lasts like 2 hours..
 
call the pod drop, I tried changing the battery on an old Ipod mini, and I ended up having to switch back to the original battery, had a head phone jack install there and they are quite reasonable. and I think they give you a warranty on it.
the 2 that I know of are: in troy across from oakland mall, and the new one on Van Dyke around 9 mile.
