You can street drive a soft loc. just turn it full tight and it should act like a normal clutch..thats what taner did. he drove it to milan, st.thomas and on gratiot once or twice.

yea the car was in street mode and on a small hit...but the clutch was pretty worn out so it started to slip in 4th.


imo if your making any good hunk of hp/trq on a manual trans soft loc is the way 2 go...the learning curve is bit bigger but youll save big money in other areas.

i remember his launch when his clutch blew, pulled the wheels in first, then they came back up when he hit second.
