Cookie your life must be hell right now lol. But I bet you are making a shit ton of money working as a private contractor in country. I hear of guys leaving the elmaco and making 190k while in country doing the same job with a mr in front of their name too lol. We deal with alot of civilian contractors in my mos 2846/41 Radio Communications and electronics and i met a sigint ew guy while i was over at MCTSSA here on Pendleton. He was... different. I think i've also seen some of you guys in my company talking to the 06 Data marines.

I wouldnt mind meeting up and doing some pogue talk if you dont mind hanging out with a young Lance Cooley. I'm 25, wish I would have joined earlier, so i could finish up my bachelors and possibly be an officer, or try to get in the shoes you're in now.
 
Did you work at the MCTSSA helpdesk? I used to work there in 05. You prolly knew Monte, and SSgt Mooney (Jeremiha) who is weird. We all are... :)

No I didnt work there, definitely not smart enough (yet) though we do call them alot. I was there for a few weeks learning the SWAN system who was taught by Ric, a retired MSGT. I know alot of the guys there were prior service. Jeremiha does ring a bell... short chunky guy with a goatee? He was weird as hell lol.

Haha I was gonna say the same thing... times have changed... nothing is a military secret anymore because the media is always up the gov't ass on everything. So its just easier for everything to be released.

I believe Mag40 falls under IIMEB and we are relieving them with IMEF.

Alex where are you stationed? I'm hanging with the WO. I was at Miramar yesterday to watch the silent rifle drill team.
 
Finally my first chance to make it online since I got here. Been here for a week and needless to say it sucks and its dusty as shit but i have it pretty good compared to most of the guys out here. Its nice in the mornings No Wifi yet, just put in my paperwork and it should take 2 weeks. They just asked if I want to be here for a year and I said hell no. I can shower whenever I want and there are nice quadcons that have full bathrooms. Not too shabby. Just got finished with IED training and tightening up my shot group today.

Craig I'm out at Camp Pendleton just north of Miramar but obviously in Afghanistan now. Cookie monster, I'm at the 1MLG Comm Maint :)
