as most of you know when i bought my 1994 Cobra the guy i bought it from told me he "just"carbed the original motor.
i bought the car with a head gasket leak,i have the motor that was in it just about ready to come out and i bought a dss 306 bullet with the afr 185 heads, and it came with a original cobra upper and lower, with all the injectors and fuel rail,i won the wire harness on ebay, and im only lacking a few small odds and ends to have her going this spring.
i still need that tube that goes from throttle body to passenger side header, thats about the most major part i need for now,so id say im ok.
its been a while since ive had a car that was intended to be worked on and i actually did the work, what a blast.....i love new bolts that dirt doesnt fall of and go in my eyes evry five minutes......lol
ill get some pics next time i go out to mess with her:boobies:

man, sound nice. i'm def. feeling you on getting the old stuff off and gone. that's how i'm doing it. mines got 90k, so everythings a bitch to remove. even though i ache like hell from lying on the floor, i'm loving seeing it come together a little at a time. good luck with your ride!

On the tube thing, my dad made one out of soft copper and bent it and flared the ends up. It worked out great.

my buddy also made one out of copper for his 94 gt convert it works fine flare it and install good luck man cobras r sweet

I may have one of those tubes but if I remember right when you picked up the motor it had a spacer so a stock tube will probably not work unless you are not using the spacer. Look forward to seeing some pictures of your car.

heres some progress pics......not much progress but im taking my time
this is the motor im putting in it,the old motor had a head gasket leak when i bought the car....oh well....this is the one she needs anyways

as strange as it may seem, there werent 10 guys standing around when i pulled my motor out today, just this little guy my son Preston,he was the biggest help i could ask for,he talked me through my fit when things werent going as planned(engine hoist on dirt floor sucked)it fell off the ply wood...
i couldnt have asked for more,My Son helped me pull my motor, hes 8 years old,no one else.........I hope he remembers this day Forever,i will.....
