That's why when the can in front of you makes a sudden evasive move it's a good idea to just follow if you can't see ahead of them.

Its funny i see this video...today during trucking school we were doing this!...
We have a big ass skidpad we use to train us on how to get out of a jacknife...the brakes on the trailor are not ABS (new trailors are ABS equipped)...and i tell you what...tryin to steer out of a jacknife is extremely difficult..and even though its a controlled eviornment, its scary...
there are 2 different techniques to get out of one...the first is clutch in and steer in the direction you want to go and hopefully the trailor will fall into track...and the second is more baller...keep the wheel strait get off the brakes and power out of it (floor it).....

As soon as i saw the tractor in the on coming, my heart dropped...class today was all about evasive manuevers/jacknife recovery.
