If you ever go in for surgery where they partially knock you out, don't...

You guys may be talking about promethazine aka part of that "lean"

Promethazine is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions (e.g., motion sickness, before/after surgery). It is also used to treat allergic symptoms such as rash, itching, and runny nose. It may be used for a short time to treat a runny nose due to the common cold. It may also be used to help you feel calmer before/after surgery or to help certain narcotic pain relievers (e.g., meperidine) work better.

It seems like the common theme is "hitting on the nurses." LOL. I'm glad to see that is a normal occurrence. I have done the same exact thing every time I have gone under anesthetic. They are probably really used to being hit on by guys after surgery. The last time I went under my brother was ready for it and had the camera phone out taking a video. I could believe the shit I was saying to the nurses. I was actually surprised, the nurses were flirting back (probably just messing with me for a laugh). But if I had the "game" I have after anesthesia, at the bar, I would be getting laid EVERY time I go out, haha.

I had my tonsils removed when I was 19 or 20 and When I was in the hospital they hooked me to a bag of twilight (what ever that is) and I told the doctor, "make sure you keep me under cause if i wake up I will kill you". That was before I was even under the influence. She laughed it off. So I took that whole bag and I was just hyper as hell at that point. So they gave me another double bag and it finally knocked me out. They had removed one tonsil and was moving in to remove the second when I sat straight up and said " I warned you" Everyone in the room freaked out cause I was spitting blood as I talked. Luckily I couldnt really move and the anesticist was a big guy and put me back under quickly. I don't remember a thing but she told me about it after I came to. She said a few people were afraid I was gonna actually hurt someone cause I am a fairly big guy compared to the ladies doing the work on me.

She kept my tonsils as desk ornaments because they were so over sized.

that's why i had my rotator cuff surgery with no anesthesia at all. it hurt a little at first, but i got used to the pain after a half hour or so...:dunno:
