If I find the guy that was ripping off spare belts from under the hoods of sleds at Tipup Town, I'm going to throw him a serious beating. A few of our sleds got hit and it's super annoying. Especially since it cost me $100 and my cousin got stranded on the trail because he blew a belt and his spare was gone.

I'll be scanning craigslist.
 
that sucks. pretty smart of whoever it was... but bullshit none the less. someone should develop a lock for them. or for the hood in general.
 
That sucks but be happy you still have your sleds. There are scumbags up there that prey on the out-of-towners. I have 2 buddys that lost sleds at TUT, both from the Limberlost. If I stop in Houghton lake I unplug the CDI, take the plug wires off and pull the belt off the secondary just hoping that they wont have enough time to figure out why she wont go.

yeah we were parked at the limberlost when the belts were lifted. I heard that a ton of sleds were stolen too. I think I'll pop for the $300/yr and put fire & theft on my sled and trailer. Not worth taking the chance.
