Started out with a stripped lower and has progressed as follows

I've had the lower for a while, got the new to me upper a few months back from an MGO'er... and finally got the cash together to dress it up.


After I completed building the lower, it then went like this:

Bushmaster 16" upper w/free float tube... didn't like the tube, didn't like the A2 permanent carry handle, etc...

I like it a lot. I tried a VFG and didn't like it at all. The AFG is a much more natural position.

There are a few indoor ranges that allow rifles. Most make you buy their own ammo though, which sucks. However, I just had it out at a friend's house in Monroe and we shot in his backyard for 2 hours.
