I should be an Aunt soon!!!!

My sister is in the hospital RIGHT NOW having a c-section....she's at full-term, but the doctors said she (and the baby) might have Preeclampsia. I was reading about it, and she doesn't have any of the symptoms....except last week when she went in to the OB/GYN, her blood pressure was high, and they did a urine test and there's a lot of protein in it when there shouldn't be. That's why they're doing a c-section today. Wondering if anyone's every known someone that had this condition??? I have no clue where it came from either.... But otherwise, I'm waiting to hear the news on the new edition to the family!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Congrats Aunt Rach! Hope all is well with the new little one. I like being an uncle. I get to spoil my nephews. But I don't do diapers. :lol:

Well, she was really disappointed when the doctors told her she has to have a c-section....she already has a little one at home (Kayleigh - she'll be 2 at the end of May), but it's going to be hard on her because it takes so long to heal from a c-section. She won't be able to pick up Kayleigh for about 6 weeks!!! It just makes it more difficult for her since the length of healing from a c-section :( I want to be up there!!!! My parents are driving up on Friday, and they'll be in Michigan for 10 days to help out :)

It is GREAT birth control for me....No desire for at least 3 days after overnight visits.

Thanks, guys! Well, I just found out that she had her baby just before 2 o'clock!!! It's a boy!!! 6lbs, 2oz and 19 1/2" long!!!! I'm not sure if she has a name picked out yet, but everyone's healthy and doing well! I'm so excited....now I have a niece AND a nephew!!!!!!!!!!! :hugegrin:
 
I say name him Nicholas lol. I love my nieces to death, because of them I get to go rollerskating this sunday lol

Nicholas lmao, hmmmmmm I wonder why you said that.....hmmmmm ;)

Rollerskating huh? We go ice skating every couple months, all of us old ppl! It's sooooooo much fun! Last time, there was this little 13-year old couple in the corner making out....I was LOLing at all the little kids, it was more entertaining than actually ice skating lol!
