So is there anything that can be done for a new I Pod that was washed in the wash machine and then dried in the dryer.

damn i read some of the forums it basically says let it chill for a few days do not tun it on or plug it in it will only make is worse

don't turn it on, until there is power then nothing will fry. so make sure it is completely dry before attempting to turn it on

No... DUMBASS.... :thefinger

It wasnt mine DUMBASS it was the old ladies lol. I checked all her pants pockets and it was in a fucking sweater. I take everything out of my pockets as soon as i walk in the door and it does in the same spot everyday.

Id probly just let it dry for a few days, well if it was dried in the dryer idk. I bet the old lady isnt to happy about that one. :banghead:

If you had an Iphone it would dry itself, then lead you back to the Mecca knowns as Steve Jobs ass for you to pay homage.

wait a minute why were you doing laundry isnt that her job? or did you intentionally wash her ipod so you wont have to do it again

Yes it usually is her job but she has working like a million hours last week and she had to get all her shit ready for her sisters bachalorette(sp) party on saturday.

with all that work/effort, may as well give it a buff & a wax while its on ice....

there is a place on rochester rd, at 14 mile (northwest corner) that has a sign on their building that does IPOD repair, I would take it to them, have thenm take it apart make sure it is completely dry and then see if it works.

good luck, let us know how it works out

buy a new one... i washed and dried mine last year and then let it sit out for the weekend and it didnt do shit... the light would come on for a second when i plugged it in but that was it
