I need some help finding a new video game to get into. PS4

I feel like Ive done nothing but play COD games since MW2..... Im looking for a different game.

Ive got destiny now, It is kinda easy, nothing hidden to find, one quest after another. I liked god of war, had secrets to find but was kinda a button masher. I liked ratchet and clank series... Loved FF2, FF3, and FF7

Things im looking for.

Fun yet challenging , I normally put everything on the hardest mode after I get the feel for it
A story of some sort
Hidden things, weapons, items, things you find off a checklist to get a trophy for.


I have not played

Bioshock series
fallout series
metal gear

Games I hated
GTA
Assassins creed style games, where you just run, and when you get to a wall it jumps, or climbs... then only one button does anything really.


Anyone got any ideas? I wouldn't even mind getting the older PS3 versions and playing them first,
 
I would just guy a WiiU lol. No need to sell the power house.

If WiiU had a serious game or Xbox one, Id go buy one at this point,
 
Bioshock is awesome, especially Infinite. Borderlands series is one of my favorites, lots of replay value and stuff to find. Deus EX, Max Payne 3, Payday/Payday 2, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Sleeping Dogs, Dark Souls I/II, and The Witcher I/II/III are all very good, too.
 
I just signed up for a free Playstation now trial.

Its basically just all the ps3 games streaming, bioshock is in there, ratchet and clank.

Bioshock Infinite is an excellent game. There was a lot of controversy while it was being made and even after release. This is the scene that caused a stir.

 
It's not out yet, but next month the Uncharted series comes out for PS4 which are some of the best games I've played. If those are available for download, do that.
 
I vote for the Fallout series. XB1 gets Fallout 4 in November so I assume PS4 is the same thing. Even the old one was good, though. If you can get Borderlands on the PS, that's another fun one to play.
 
Im gonne look into borderlands, uncharted and fallout. Ill look at an older metal gear also.. i remember that shit was soooo hard on nes lol
 
X2 for fallout and bioshock series. Of you like games that are difficult and will deplete your life force play dark souls. Xb1 has a free mmo called neverwinter that's fun too.

I call Dark Souls a "controller chucker". Remember back in the day on NES and SNES games, you'd get fed up trying to get past a part and throw the controller across the room? Dark Souls has the same effect :lol:
