Worked for me the first week of June. Except they were running 45-60 minutes behind on calling appointments in by early afternoon. Which is no shocker.
I need a title transfer and plates put on a new to me vehicle, what do I do?

I checked for online appointments on Monday. I checked for SOS within 25 miles
and it listed like 8 offices. I checked a few "same day", no go. I checked the first
4 or 5 and the "next available" was late August / September.......
......then I checked the Ann Arbor office and it showed 1 appointment for June 17
@ 11:40!!!!
Ya, I grab that about as fast as one could! So keep checking. My guess is someone
had just cancelled & I hit it just right.

I bought my truck about a week ago, got insurance on it and got my apt set for SOS mid August. I got pulled over in Dearborn for no plate, showed the cop a fully filled out photocopy of the title, insurance info and the paper saying I got my apt set for SOS and I was let go with no issue.

When I was in couple weeks ago, the lady letting people inside was saying that they randomly open up more slots in the evening and early morning. How true that is, no clue. Just what she said.

MY Birthday was in May so 3 of my household DD's are expired. Cannot title and Plate my 50 Pontiac and cannot Title and Plate my new Camper.

I got my two corvettes and my motorcycle titled yesterday.
Side note my "flooring it" careless driving ticket and expired registration got thrown out woot, had court VIA Zoom worked out great. I feel like it they continue to allow Zoom court meetings everyone will contest their tickets lol.

Nice! I beat a speeding ticket in the Clem the same way last year. ALWAYS ask for a hearing. Sometimes just by showing up it gets dropped - my cop didn't show!

I have an appointment for this Friday at 11:15 am the Clinton township office for a title transfer I'm not going to use. If I cancel it while you are on the site you might be able to get it. My Mom cancelled hers and my Aunt took her appointment time like that.

Zoom for court, thats pretty crazy. I feel like they could manage people flow/appointments better and follow the social distancing guidelines instead of everyone showing up at 9AM then going in alphabetical order or whatever.

Keep checking those offices. I checked several this Monday, all August / September,
then this one popped up...

It was super fast too, I think the Magistrate or whatever they are called got everyone done in about 20 min. He had an assistant tho as he was older and had no idea how to use Zoom.

The "popped upped" part was availability, the appointment was 2 days later.
I also got there an hour early (just to check in) and they took me right in
because I had an appointment.
